Jakob de Bum

Jakob de Brum is a 13-year-old 2nd Dan black belt from Abingdon, Oxfordshire — and now a double World Champion. At the JKS Karate World Championships in Brazil (August 2026), he claimed Gold in Individual Kata and Gold in Team Kumite, representing England as a proud JKS England Squad member. He has also earned an EKF E1 Gold, European Silver (Kata) and European Bronze (Team Kumite).

Jakob combines elite sport with a growing modelling and acting career — registered with three professional modelling agencies — and has been publicly endorsed by Jon Xue Zhang, stunt professional on Doctor Strange, Rogue One, Eternals and Hobbs & Shaw, who called him “exceptional”. He has trained in Shotokan karate since the age of 5 at Can Do Martial Arts, Abingdon.
